
The excellent food-and-wine from the area, combined with the skill of the chefs Giuseppe and Salvatore Scrivano, winners of many awards, make the convivial moments in the Castle matchless. The cuisine is strictly based on typical local seasonal produce, and re-proposes traditional Sicilian dishes in elegant menus that represent veritable taste pathways along which the culture of the area is relived and savoured. The cellars offer a wide and refined choice of wines to accompany the dishes chosen.
Even the pizza menu is notable for the distinctiveness of its ingredients and for the matching of each different pizza to exclusive beer labels, for those in the know.
The many awards conferred on Giuseppe and Salvatore Scrivano, master chef and President for the Sicilian Region of the Italian Association of Professional Cooks respectively, are the result of a long professional career marked, before everything else, by the predilection for Sicilian-ness and excellence.
